Case Study

National Redevelopment Program

With a commitment of $214 million to modernize more than 400 McDonald’s locations in North Carolina, Commercial Site Design partnered with the fast food giant to redevelop one of its Raleigh locations.

With a corporate goal of transforming the customer experience “inside and outside the restaurant”, Its McCafe location on Falls of Neuse Road went through internal and external remodels and incorporated technology and a modern design.

Because of new exterior features, including adding a new entrance, the site had to be reworked to meet ADA standards.

Handicap parking was moved to better accommodate customers and to comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards. The new handicap parking location gives customers the quickest route to the closest accessible door.
